Founded in 1993, Fotophile.com began as a way to share links to photography sites on the nascent World Wide Web. Since then, the free site has grown to include photo-related news, reviews of exhibits and books, an online gallery, a bookstore and photographer discussion forums. Today, it receives in excess of 100,000 visitors each month and looks to continue its growth in popularity.
